The reason for dismissal was Chayka Peschanokopskoye's unsuccessful performance. Before the start of the season, the Rostov region team set a goal to enter the Russian Premier League, but at the moment the club takes only 13th place with 23 points.

Gordeev's coaching career

In 2013, Gordeev worked at the Rostov football club, then headed Torpedo Armavir, and in 2015 he joined the Orenburg FC coaching staff.

In 2016, he became the head coach of Orenburg, which he led to the Russian Premier League, but after losing to Spartak in the Cup of Russia, he left his post.

In the period from 2017 to 2018, Gordeev headed Dynamo St. Petersburg, and in 2019 he became the head coach of Chayka Peschanokopskoye.

We will remind, earlier Chayka Peschanokopskoye extended the agreement with the 37-year-old midfielder Dmitry Torbinskiy.
